Our Story: How Woody Paper Began

From a Simple Idea to a Sustainable Mission

Every great brand begins with a moment — a realisation that something needs to change. For us at Woody Paper, that moment came when we looked around our homes and saw the mountains of single-use plastic wrapped around everyday essentials. Toilet rolls in plastic sleeves. Kitchen towels in shrink wrap. Products we use every single day, packaged in materials that outlive us by centuries.

We asked ourselves: why does it have to be this way?

Where It All Started

Woody Paper was founded in the UK by a small team of eco-conscious entrepreneurs who believed that sustainable living shouldn't be a luxury — it should be the norm. We started with one product: bamboo tissue. Soft, strong, and plastic-free. The response was overwhelming. People were ready for change; they just needed a brand they could trust.

From that first roll of bamboo tissue, we grew. We added nursing pads, waxing tools, and a growing range of plastic-free essentials — all designed with the same core belief: everyday products should not cost the Earth.

Built on Values, Not Just Products

We're not just a product company. We're a community of people who care deeply about the planet we're leaving behind. Every decision we make — from the materials we source to the packaging we use — is guided by our commitment to sustainability, transparency, and quality.

Our journey is still unfolding. But one thing has never changed: our belief that small, everyday choices can create a massive collective impact. And it all started with a single roll of bamboo.

Welcome to Woody Paper. We're glad you're here.
